A fundamental "mistake" in my childhood is the lack of being introduced to the absolutely amazing tv series Twin Peaks instructed and directed by David Lynch. Anyway I had the pleasure of receiving a gold ediition dvd from my girlfriend with the entire series of Twin peaks. This autumn I therefore spent at least one evening a week in company with Twin Peaks. 29 episodes. And what a great experience.
The whole setup is just fantastic and I do recommend that if you have not seen Twin Peaks. Well..off you go...it is great. Check out these videos below. The first is the intro for Twin Peaks. Very cool.

The Prime Minister of Denmark, Anders Fogh Rasmussen visited Etiopia this week. During his visit he was challenged for a 30 minutes long run by the the world record holder in Marathon Haile Gebrselassie who is from Etiopia. He recently ran Berlin Marathon (World record) in 2.03.59 hours. Wauw.
Have a look at the picture below. I think the picture tell the story pretty well. Normally Anders Fogh has this smiling look (seven years of power), but facing the worlds best runner changed his attitude a bit:-)I cannot blame him. Read more about Anders Fogh Rasmussen and his 30 minutes of running here!

So you need to install a open source Content Management Systems and cannot decide between Wordpress or Joomla? I found this very informative review about what a CMS is and how you can use it. Furthermore this article explain the strenghts and failures in Wordpress and Joomla.
Personally I tried both systems and I find them very easy and nice to work with. I ended up using Joomla (1.59) which I have not regret, but to be honest I think the "cool factor" is a little bit greater for Wordpress than for Joomla.

What is a good sunday: Go to your record shelves (If you have any?) Pick up this inspiring, jazzy, funky, cool record produced by "Chilean/German microhouse producer" Ricardo Villalobos. Take the record and put it on your Technics 1210. Go make yourself a fresh cup of coffee. Sit back, relax and enjoy the music. I do that once in a while and cannot think of a better sunday. Oh. And you can spice your sunday up with a newspaper like Poitiken or Borsen.
If you do not have a Technics 1210 I suggest that you just buy Villalobos' Waiworinao as MP3 or CD (Buy) and listen to it on your computer or speakers.

Viral marketing got a breakthrough by year's Advertising Effectiveness Awards, where Saatchi & Saatchi and media agency Goviral won the first price with viral movie for surfer brand Quicksilver. Make a film that is spectacular enough to allow Internet users to make it viral by sending and marketing the movie on the Internet. That's basically what viral marketing is all about. Create a buzz about a movie (or something else) and make innovators and opinion leaders adopt the campaign and let them spread the word on YouTube and other WEB 2.0 platforms.
By the moment I am posting the Quicksilver campaign on my blog I am suddenly a part of this viral process. Interesting.

The danish brandguru Martin Lindstrom recently released his new book buology. He claims that advertising agencies do not know what works?!. I have not read his buyology book, but for my thesis I have superficially been studying another book of his: Brand Sense which I enjoyed reading sofar.I guess his doing alright since he is were he is.
Anyways. As I am pretty much a sucker for Apple (I am not religious though) Lindstrøm caught my attention doing an interview survey of Apple consumers in Sydney, Australia. Talking about branding and brands Apple is the inevitable case which is why I am posting this video: Lindstrom is in Sydney investigating the link between Apple consumers and brands/religion.
