10 years ago I trained almost every day to improve my jumping gymnastics skills! And I remember making a triple somersault which was actually pretty wild.

AMSTERDAM MARATHON 2010

On the 17th of October 2010 I ran Amsterdam Marathon with two friends. The weather turned out to be really nice after some days with rain and a lot of wind. This year 7887 completed the race and I came in as runner 574 in my best time ever: 3.06!

As always I tried to run - negative split - which is a marathon where you run the last part faster than the first part. I ran the first 21.1 km. in 1.34 and the last part in 1.32. A very satisfactory feeling to run faster in the end of a mara...

The biggest bank in Denmark - Danske Bank, has just launched an iPhone app where you can check your finances on the go. The app let's you transfer money between your own accounts or to other peoples accounts. Furthermore the app can find the nearest Bank, ATM etc. Impressive.The design and user interface look quite nice. Looking forward to see some innovation from my bank - Nordea.

As expected, Apple is holding a "special event" on Jan. 27. The event is marketed as "come see our latest creation". I hope it will be the launch pad for the as-yet-unconfirmed Apple iTablet. The last week I spent in London, where my brother lives. As we were hanging out in the city center we visited a Burberry shop, due to the fact that my brother needed a new winter coat.

DR P3 IPHONE APPLICATION

After several delays, the Danish National Radio has finally released their own iPhone application. You find it in the App Store under the name DR P3.

The program is linked to to the radio program P3. The App let you see the five most recent songs, a current top 20 of most played songs on P3 and a minor news overview. Furthermore you can check out the DR music catalog and find background information. Cool.

I recently listened to an interview/DJ mix named Inside Out - London Belongs To Me with the big Englishman Andrew Weatherall. He plays a track by The Clash - named Tommy Gun. The guitar solo at 2.20 is so cool and I thought I would share it here on the blog.

CENTURION BIKE

Today I bought a new bike. I like bikes with a clean and minimal look and after 2 hours of research I decided to go for a Centurion Basic Classic single speed. I am quite surprised by the unexpected great interest in browsing my website. It is not a secret that I do visit my own website due to hackers etc. on a daily basis. But I was quite surprised when I realized that I had 3585 visits this month, taking into considereration that I do blog about useless information once in a while:-)

Finally I was able to track down a fashion show I did for Björn Borg for the fashionweek in Stockholm (Februar 2008). The show was held at Berns hotel and is very much inspired by the seventies. The show was characterized as nordic and masculine. What more can you actually dream of: Nordic and masculine:-)

What is a brand really?

Well. A lot of definitions and opinions exist in this well wrtitten academic area. Normally it is Marketing professors and brand consultants who define what a brand is and not normal people and consumers.

If you are a Mac user and for some reason have a Hotmail account (There is not a lot after all) and want to use this account with Apple's superiour Mail application here is the solution:

1: Download this plugin. Choose the version matching your Mac Os X - Panther, Tiger or Leopard.

2: Read the instruction and install it.

3: Send and receive mail from your Hotmail account from your Mail application on your mac.

SUMMER IN DENMARK

Last summer (July & August) I attended the International Summer School at Copenhagen Business School. I remember the weather from last summer as very bad.

Also I remember the professor from my course complaining about the Danish weather. I guess he is complaining again this year, because the summer of 2008 is not very different, unfortunately - Nice weather in May and really really boring weather in July.

COPENHAGEN MARATHON 2008

It was a perfect day when I had the pleasure of running Copenhagen Marathon 2008 the 18th of May. In 2002 I managed to carry through Copenhagen Marathon in 3.28 hours, which I consider as an acceptable debut perfomance (I only trained 3 weeks ). My ultimate goal this year was to beat my time from 2002.
