The invisible airbag bicycle helmet Hövding has just received the worlds largest design award, INDEX. Hövding is a bicycle helmet unlike any other on the market. It’s ergonomic, it’s practical, it complies with all safety requirements and it’s subtle and blends in with what you are wearing. I will have to get one of these for my girlfriend!

Check out how it works below:

Vogue Hommes Japan has recently launched an interactive platform together with Dior Homme. The interactive platform is based on GIF pictures in black and white. Off course. Dior Homme is involved. The output is really cool and too much - typical Dior style.

Because of the GIF feature you can watch it on an iPhone or iPad. Check out some of the GIF's from Vol. 1 below.

In this week it is fashionweek in Copenhagen and if you want a live update form the shows, parties, events and much more simply point your browser to www.fashionweeklive.dk.

The website www.fashionweeklive.dk cover the entire fashionweek on their website. There is a cool iPhone edition as well.

The last week I spent in London, where my brother lives. As we were hanging out in the city center we visited a Burberry shop, due to the fact that my brother needed a new winter coat.

The British luxury brand Burberry is more than 150 years old, but the entire brand is marketed as an innovative company taking fully advantage of Twitter and Facebook. I think Burberry is a success (I suppose) because they combine their history with web 2.0 digital branding.

In 2006 I created a website for my brother, because he was doing okay in the fashion business as a model. And he is actually still doing okay. Today I updated his website with new pictures.

Check it out here: www.christianjorgensen.eu.

Today I became aware of my brother is a good looking guy. And you might ask why I can postulate something like that? Well. Because he just look as sharp as a razor blade on a bunch of new pictures (Look book?) featured on Paul Smith's website. The pictures are taken for Paul Smith London Autumn winter 2009's collection.

Check out the pictures below:

In spring 2006 I visited the capital of fashion - Paris with my brother. My bro is quite a fashion and innovation sucker. Due to this fact we visited the very cool and fashionable fashion/concept store Colette on 213 Rue Saint - Honoré. Colette is a worldwide known fashion store. They sell everything cool, and try to push the boundaries for concept stores. I guess they are pretty innovative and successful.

The other day I browsed their website and realized the got a new one. And what a website. The new Colette website is super functional with a lot of great features (no flash anymore which I find very cool) On top of that I think the website/Colette crew have a nice taste in music. A lot of electronic stuff which remind me about our visit in the store in 2006.

Back then my brother tried to record a small video in the store, but after a few moments a guard told him to stop. I found the video in my iTunes library today and thought I would share it with you. Go check Colette's website here and check the video below

SKATEBOARDING VS. FASHION

Adam Kimmel is a fashion designer based in New York. That is not very interesting information at all. But when it comes down to marketing and branding I think Adam Kimmel has got something right. Or at least he knows how to make a buzz about himself and his brand.

I guess his target group is characterized as "fashion people living in the city", which is actually the most interesting aspect of this post. Because Adam Kimmel latest marketing stunt has not got anything to do with urban/city/Sex And The City lifestyle/bohemian/cocktail life. It is all about being crazy and pretty insane on a skateboard.

Finally I was able to track down a fashion show I did for Björn Borg for the fashionweek in Stockholm (Februar 2008). The show was held at Berns hotel and is very much inspired by the seventies. The show was characterized as nordic and masculine. What more can you actually dream of: Nordic and masculine:-)
