You may all be aware of the fact that Danish electronic/rock superstar Anders Trentemøller makes nice music. But those of you who dig deeper in the sphere of electronic music may also be aware of the English electronic/rock icon Andrew Weatherall has made some outstanding records.
And back in 2010 Weatherall remixed Trentemøller's Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider Go.

Back in 2001 the New Yorker band The Strokes sent out their debut album Is This It? to the masses. And it is just a classic album after all.
All the tracks are rocking, but especially the title track Is This It? is pure magic with a stunning bassline.

Superpitcher is one of my alltime favourites DJs from Germany. Rumours says that his new album released on Kompakt records, which is coming out shortly, is truly amazing. If you cannot wait you can catch Superpitcher and his partner in crime - Michael Mayer at this year Distortion Festival in Copenhagen. They are going to rock the entire place!
Anyways. Superpitcher is also a great remixer - and his newest remix is not a long shot. It is a really cool interpretation of Charlotte Gainsbourg's track The Operation. Pretty cool.

It is no secret I rather live in a hipster home than a no hipster home. But according to the very satirical blog Unhappy Hipsters - hipsters are not happy. The blog, Unhappy Hipsters underline their point taking images from the architecture and design magazine Dwell, and interpret the emotional states of the people in the photos.
The point is: Why are these hipsters so unhappy when they live in fancy modern design houses and apartments - which is supposed to make them happy? Anyways - the blog is great fun and the houses pretty cool. Visit the blog here and read more about why hipsters are unhappy in modern houses here.

The electronic band LCD Soundsystem has made some really cool music. Years ago I bought their "Losing My Edge" EP released on the label DFA. It is just a classic and if I was a dj it would be in my bag every time I left for a job. Funky record.

Sasu Ripatt aka Luomo is just a great musician. The finish born producer/musician has been making danceable, but also "home listening" music for more than a decade - and he is still going strong.
The track "Tessio" from his Vocalcity album (2000) is not an exception. Easy going electronic music with a great vocal. Take a listen below:

I recently listened to an interview/DJ mix named Inside Out - London Belongs To Me with the big Englishman Andrew Weatherall. He plays a track by The Clash - named Tommy Gun. The guitar solo at 2.20 is so cool and I thought I would share it here on the blog.

I am quite fascinated by the English DJ and producer Andrew weatherall. I recently listened to an interview/DJ mix named Inside Out - London Belongs To Me. Fantastic set I think. He opens his set with a track by Primal Scream. Not the stuff that I use to hear, but I do think it deserves a post anyway.
The track is named Loaded and it was released in 1990. Check details here and listen to the track in the video below. Go listen to the big Englishman Andrew Weatherall's "Inside Out - London Belongs To Me" interview/music here.

Some months ago I bought an EP with the Danish band When Saints Go Machine. The EP is named When Saints Go Machine and the best track on the release is a track called "Pale".
Now the track has been rereleased with club remixes from the Spanish producer Pablo Bolivar. The result is two cool club tracks with some nice vocals on. Take a listen below and read more about the release here.
