Yesterday I finally managed to get my website running SEO friendly URLs. At first I thought it was an impossible mission since I could not figured it out. At first I installed the Joomla component "sh404SEF" which rewrites Joomla URL to a more user-friendly format (SEF URL or URL rewriting): ornholt.dk/index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=69&id=34... becomes ornholt.dk/about). At first it did not work, but after a helpful one.com employee helped me rewrite my .htaccess file I did succed. Sweet. Now my URLs are just a little bit shorter (and have a lot more decent look). Great!

I recently installed the super cool Google Analytics module developed for Joomla Content Managament System on my website. Actually I am surprised by the applicability. Being educated within the area of marketing you cannot think of better way to analyze your website than Google Analytics. It is free for everyone to install on their website and after wards you can really learn something about yourself, and your website visitors.
In a business context, this is super relevant and quite profitable. If you have a website with a web shop, you can classify your customers in many ways. Where are they from, what browser do the use, are they Windows or mac people?. With Google Analytics you can also see how your website visitors are lead to your website. Through Google or through a direct referral?
