I know this may sound a little boring, but I like statistics. I like to measure things - especially on the web. And when working with web and business measuring is important.

Last week I was playing around with Facebook and Twitter login on my Joomla website. I managed to get it up and running with both features integrated, but I have to admit that it was kind of buggy since I was only able to login successfully every second time. So I decided to drop the Facebook login and went for the Twitter login only. And it works flawlessly.

A fresh survey (IAB Europe) shows that Denmark is the country in Europe where advertising sales for Internet media accounts for the largest share of the overall Advertisement budgets. To put it simple: The Danes are very much online and online is now "bigger" than other media-platforms like print. In an advertising/marketing perspective this means that online as a communication channel is finally being "taken serious".

I recently installed the super cool Google Analytics module developed for Joomla Content Managament System on my website. Actually I am surprised by the applicability. Being educated within the area of marketing you cannot think of better way to analyze your website than Google Analytics. It is free for everyone to install on their website and after wards you can really learn something about yourself, and your website visitors.

I am quite surprised by the unexpected great interest in browsing my website. It is not a secret that I do visit my own website due to hackers etc. on a daily basis. But I was quite surprised when I realized that I had 3585 visits this month, taking into considereration that I do blog about useless information once in a while:-)
