Funny and well produced viral marketing. The movie "Power of Wind" from Epuron won a Golden Lion at International Advertising Festival in Cannes and is produced by advertising agency Nordpol based in Hamburg, Germany.

Adam Kimmel is a fashion designer based in New York. That is not very interesting information at all. But when it comes down to marketing and branding I think Adam Kimmel has got something right. Or at least he knows how to make a buzz about himself and his brand.

Viral marketing got a breakthrough by year's Advertising Effectiveness Awards, where Saatchi & Saatchi and media agency Goviral won the first price with viral movie for surfer brand Quicksilver. Make a film that is spectacular enough to allow Internet users to make it viral by sending and marketing the movie on the Internet. That's basically what viral marketing is all about. Create a buzz about a movie (or something else) and make innovators and opinion leaders adopt the campaign and let them spread the word on YouTube and other WEB 2.0 platforms.
